Overview
Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) is a flagship company of Adani Group of companies registered under “The companies act 1956”. AEL has entered in to a MOU with Energy Department of State Government of Rajasthan on 20.03.2008, for setting up coal base thermal power plant near Kawai village of Baran district, Rajasthan through its subsidiary company Adani Power Limited called as Adani Power Rajasthan Limited (APRL).
APRL proposed to construct 2×660 MW Thermal Power Plant at Kawai in Rajasthan. The proposed power plant is located on the East side of Salpura Railway Station on Kota Rutiyai section falling on Kota division of West Central Railway. An extent of 662 Acres of land has been acquired by APRL for the proposed power plant.
