Location: Sikka, West Coast Of India

HOWE was responsible for the planning, design, and project management of the marine facilities for the Di-Ammonium Phosphate Plant at Sikka, Gujarat.

The project included:

• A berth for ships of up to 25,000 DWT for receiving phosphoric acid and liquid ammonia.
• A 4 km long approach to the berth from shore, consisting of a rock fill bund and of a piled structure.

The project was completed ahead of schedule and below the budget.

• An elevated pipeline supporting structure on the approach
• Phosphoric acid and liquid ammonia pipelines
• Infrastructure including power and lighting.
