Vizag Agriport Private Limited (VAPL) appointed M/s HOWE India Pvt Ltd. (HOWE) as consultant for carrying out Planning, Basic Engineering & Tendering for the installation of mechanized fertilizer handling facilities at EQ-7 located in the inner harbour of Visakhapatnam port.

The services provided by HOWE for the assignment are given below:

• Firming up the layout of the terminal considering the required handling rates at berth and stackyard, required storage capacity at stackyard, evacuation rates
• Basic Engineering of the proposed mechanised fertilizer handling facilities comprising of ship unloaders, conveyor system, trippers, scraper reclaimers, bagging station, Rail and truck loading stations and associated infrastructure.
• Estimation of capital cost and Implementation Schedule for the project.
• Preparation of Package wise EPC Tender Documents for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical & Automation works and technical evaluation of tenders received.
