Design Of Civil Works Of The Northward Extension Of The Product Berths At The Marine Oil Terminal At Vadinar

HOWE has been awarded the Design Works of the Northward Extension of The Product Berths at the Marine Oil Terminal at Vadinar, Gujarat (also designed by HOWE earlier), for M/s Vadinar Oil Terminal Ltd. (Essar Oil – Refinery Division), Vadinar, Gujarat.

The Scope of work for the extension comprises:

Design and issuing of drawings for the following facilities, further north of the existing Product Berth:

• One island type berth capable of accommodating tankers ranging from 10,000 DWT to 60,000 DWT sizes.
• One island type berth capable of accommodating tankers of 40,000 DWT size.
• Each berth to have a central platform with two loading arms each, with each loading arm having a flow rate of 2000 KL (loading arms are not included).
• Supporting arrangement for all the existing seven product lines for taking to each of the proposed berths (pipelines are not included).
• The facility design shall be based on the explicit understanding that no two vessels at the berths shall be loaded with the same product.
• All necessary completion certification or other related details as required vide statutory agencies will be provided by HOWE.
