HBI Handling Facility From Dr Plant To Jetty

SHADEED IRON & STEEL Company export raw material (HBI) through sea route. JSIS has a jetty with 2 no Ship Loaders/Unloaders and other infrastructure. The jetty can handle incoming equipment and raw materials and shipping of finished products by large tonnage vessels. JSIS intend to develop new HBI handling facility from DR plant to jetty including 1 no. new ship loader without disturbing the existing facility. M/s HOWE India Pvt Ltd. (HOWE) was appointed as consultant for Design, Engineering of ship loader system for HBI loading from DR plant to jetty at Shadeed Iron & Steel LLC Oman.

The services provided by HOWE comprised of the following:

• Basic scheme comprising flow scheme, layout & Basic Engineering for HBI loading facility from DR plant to jetty.
• Study & check the adequacy of the existing common facilities that shall be shared by new ship ladder also jetty, on shore conveyor, marine conveyor, electrical / instrument installations etc.
• Preparation of detailed data sheet & technical tender specifications for Ship Loader.
• Preparation of data sheet & technical specifications for conveyor components for loading bids.
• Preparation of drawing for civil works, fabrication drawing for structural works as well as conveyor technological structure, Engineering drawings for electrical & controls.
• Evaluate bids of ship loader and all conveyor components and prepare evaluation & recommendation report.
