Development Of Ennore Container Terminal

Client: Adani Ennore Container Terminal Private Limited

Location: Ennore, Tamil Nadu

Adani Ennore Container Terminal Private Limited (AECTPL) has license for development and operations of container terminal on the east coast of India at Ennore under concession from Ennore Port Trust.

HOWE has worked on this PPP project from its RFP stage. HOWE provided technical bid advisory services to Adani group for its bid submission to authority. Once after winning of bid from authority, Adani group delegated the responsibility of Project management consultancy to HOWE. The broad scope of HOWE includes from planning, engineering, estimation, commercial aspects, quality, construction supervision at site etc.

Salient features:

• 460 m long Berth in Phase I and another 270 m long Berth in Phase II. Both the berths will be supported on pile foundation and diaphragm wall.
• Storage yard with capacity of approximately 8400 TGS
• Equipment: – 7 Nos. of RMQC having 65 ton capacity. (4 No’s in phase I and 3 No’s in phase II).
  • 21 No’s RTG. (12 No’s in phase I and 9 No’s in phase II).
  • 42 No’s Tractor Trailer. (24 No’s in phase I and 18 No’s in phase II).
  • 2 No’s Reach Stacker. (1 No’s in phase I and 1 no’s in phase II).
